Our Interventions

HPV Vaccination Community Activation

With support from WAVA, Gem Hub Initiative trained 10 vaccine champions in 10 settlements in FCT. We successfully conducted community mobilization and campaign across these 10 settlements thereby contributing to the increase in demand for HPV vaccines in FCT, Nigeria.

Teens Mom

Promoting SRH, MNCH, Resilience, and Mental Health in Communities: In addressing a reported case of high incidence of teenage pregnancy in some communities in Abuja, Gem Hub Initiative took a step in adopting one of those communities.

Youth Employability and Entrepreneurship Enhancement Program

In response to the human capital issues in Nigeria and the need to support youths, whose population is about 70 per cent, Gem Hub is implementing YEEEP in rural and urban slums recognizing that they are further disadvantaged.

Adolescent Hub

Gem Hub holds bi-monthly meetings with about 100 adolescents in the communities where we work. We talk about Life Skills, Gender Norms, health education, and building a reading culture to improve their vocabulary and public speaking skills.

Our aim is to make the world a better place for the Youths, Mostly Women and Children
